Who We Are
The Members of Free Wind, LLC are a small group, with one purpose: To bring Wind Energy into the 21st Century by making it more practical, efficient and economical.
The foundation of our efforts are the patented designs created over the past 35 years by Bil McDavid, an independent inventor.
During a visit to a large city in 1975, Bil experienced severe respiratory distress and burning, watery eyes from air pollution. The symptoms abated as soon as he was out of the metropolitan area.
Bil decided to dedicate himself to finding a better way to produce energy, one which could reduce the deleterious impact humans have on the ONLY known natural life-support system in the Universe, while providing the energy needed to support a modern society's lifestyle.
